Baby Remington's Birth Story | Brook + John | 2023

Here is what Brooke had to say about her birth story experience...

When my Husband and I found out we were pregnant, we knew this would be our last baby. We decided to make this one our final addition. I knew that there were many things I wanted to do with this baby that I didn’t really have the opportunity for with my last one. I try to look back on my labor and delivery of my last child and I honestly can’t remember it. It’s a blur and I can’t remember the small moments I’m sure I had. I wanted to change that with this one. I knew what I wanted… I wanted pictures to capture every small moment in the delivery room. Only one person came to mind: Samantha.

She had been with me during my shy Boudoir shoots, watching me gain more and more confidence with every shoot, growing like a caterpillar into a butterfly. She captured those intimate moments and I wanted her to flip the script and capture a different kind of intimate moment. After seeing my pictures, even today, I can remember the delivery. I remember how supportive my husband was, I remember the laughter that filled the room when I asked for a cheeseburger, I remember the tears on faces when everyone could see her precious face being delivered… but I also got to experience watching my husband cut the cord and watching my doctor deliver her from start to finish, which that is something I couldn’t see first hand without Sam.
