As a boudoir photographer, I could go on and on about how and why you should consider your very own boudoir session. But that's not what I want to do. I don't want you to choose me or any boudoir photographer because of what I say, I want you to choose to take the first steps of self love on your own with your own opinion. I want you to hear the real experiences from clients who have had their own and really hear what boudoir means to them. This week, I have Carrie sharing her experiences with you. I've been lucky to have booked her twice so far and I hope to keep that number growing. She's definitely a stunner every time she shows up. Her confidence is to be admired. But don't take it from me, read her story below.
What Boudoir Means to Me
Would you mind providing us a testimonial of your time spent with Wander & Lust Boudoir?
A boudoir session is something that every woman should experience in her life. It’s so freeing, uplifting, erotic and life changing. I LOVE them and keep going back!!
From the warm welcome, the way Sam puts you at ease, the food (cause ya girl likes to eat!!), the beautiful/fierce ladies and photos, EVERYTHING was perfect!!
Your session is your session!! Sam makes it all about you, it's precisely what you want from beginning to end.
IT PUSHES THE EDGE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!
EVERYONE who does a session is nervous! Even after doing a few I still get nervous. Being at the edge of your comfort zone is what pushes you to grow in beautiful ways!
A huge shout out to Sam 💜❤️ you are perfect. Thank you for EVERYTHING and sharing your light. If you ladies are on the fence about doing a shoot, just do it. Do it for you 💕!
What are three words you would use to describe your boudoir experience with Wander & Lust?
Fun
Exhilarating
Motivating
Did anything change about how you see yourself?
I always see something new in myself after a shoot. This time it was the AMAZING interactions with the other girls. Everyone was so encouraging and uplifting it was amazing!!
What was your initial reaction to your images?
This was my second shoot with Sam. My first shoot was life changing!! I thought there was no way I would like these pictures more than the first set. I was WRONG!!! I love both sets but for different reasons.
What inspired you to do a session?
My first session I did for my husband. My second session I did for me. I loved everything about the first and want me some more sexy photos.
Before your session, what were you most nervous about?
This was a weird one for me. If you know me at all I am not shy. I really do NOT care what others think. I was nervous because I hate thinking I am not as good as the others. Even worse is that I may not love me in the photos. I am my worst critic.
What was your favorite part of the experience?
There is not one thing that I can call out. The entire experience was 10000% amazing.
After the shoot how did you feel?
It was surreal. The feeling after is like a OMG did I just do that!?! You are so full of self-love that you need to feel it to understand.
Any advice for someone who might be considering a shoot?
This photo-shoot was not just a photo-shoot. It was an experience that I’ll never forget! Being a mommy of two boys, the youngest being 6-yoga pants, tank tops and a messy bun was my go to look, and I NEEDED this. Do not worry if you aren't perfect. No you do not need to lose a few more pounds. No you do not need to wait until your hair appt. DO IT NOW!!! You deserve it!
Are these photos for you, or a gift for someone?
These were for me but my husband is ALWAYS my biggest fan!
Where did you shop for your outfits?
Amazon!
Now that you've had your session what would you go back and tell yourself to calm your nerves, inspire or empower yourself?
Yes your ass is fat but he likes it like that!!
