Summer 2020 Bombshell Boudiethon
If you have been following me and my boudoir business for a while, you would know that this year I orchestrated Wander & Lust's first marathon event- The Bombshell Boudiethon; an event that I will now be hosting twice a year. It has quickly gained a lot of love and interest in my client group and tends to fill up fast.
2020 is has been a crazy year but for me, it's been a year of trying new things and finding great success in. Another new thing I started was not only blogging my own content but asking clients to share their experiences and photos for others to see. This is both awesome and exciting for the client sharing her experience but also for the readers because they get to learn about what goes into a session with me.
This week on the blog, I have Shiloh sharing her time with all of you. If you have been following, you've probably noticed Shy is one of the gorgeous gals who booked the summer Boudiethon. You may have seen a few favorites of hers and mine posted in my Ladies ONLY VIP group and other areas of social media. She's ready to tell her story and hopefully convince some of you to book your own session so that you feel as pampered and gorgeous as she did.

Hey everyone!
So, let me start off by saying that this post is going to be brutally honest and open about not only how I felt prior, during, and after my boudoir session, but also why I strongly encourage each of you that's on the fence about it to take the leap and GO FOR IT! Now that that's out there, let's dive right in!
A year before my session I saw a beautiful friend of mine do a set with Sam and was blown away. We had both met Sam in Cosmetology school, so this just reaffirmed her talent. When I finally got around to booking my session, I was only 4 months postpartum from my second baby. In so many ways I was struggling with my self-esteem and to somehow learn to love my new curves, stretch marks, and other changes. I was so nervous and honestly a bit scared, but I knew that if I didn't do the session out of fear of my body, it would be a direct hypocrisy to the love and encouragement I myself would give to anyone else in this situation. Surprisingly, after I made up my mind the nerves started to die down the night before my shoot.
Once I got there, I was blown away at how pretty the spot was! It was a warm and welcoming environment. Sam instantly got to work making me laugh and relax before we even got started. This really made all of my nerves disappear. I didn't know what to expect, but she made me feel at ease and comfortable pretty much immediately. She offered me a mimosa, which was AMAZING by the way, and we got to work! Aka, I got pampered and sipped my drink. After catching up with Kara for my makeup, it was time to start!
Now, let me say this right off the bat. I was so unsure of how to pose at first and majorly second guessing myself. Sam was SO helpful and didn't hesitate to demonstrate how to do it and made me laugh in the process. After a few minutes, we had some nice shots that she let me see a few pictures in the view finder and wow! I didn't even know I could look like that! It was a shock, but it made me realize that I can still feel confident and sexy in my new skin, even after having my second baby! The rest of the shoot was a breeze and it came way more natural after that.
After the shoot, I felt exhilarated by the confidence boost that already had hit me. Sam and the girls were so uplifting and truly embodied female beauty and sexuality in a way that was so positive and genuine, that it's truly an experience I urge anyone on the fence about doing it to take a deep breath, and DO it! I have never been so comfortable in such a new situation in my life. You'll never feel uncomfortable because everyone was so understanding and helpful. If you are someone like me, that's struggling to feel comfortable and sexy in your own skin, or even just wanting to feel empowered or step out of your comfort zone, please do it!
You will absolutely not regret it!
